16-20 hours per week, $12.50 per hour

Applications close July 18 - Reviews begin July 22.

As part of the Foster Success team, the Donor & Volunteer Relations Intern will play a pivotal role on the Development team's interactions with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will cultivate and encourage a vibrant culture of goodwill and gratitude between Foster Success and its many current donors and volunteers, and prospective donors and volunteers. Prompt and sincere expressions of gratitude to those who support Foster Success are directly linked to their satisfaction as donors, which increases ongoing loyalty to the nonprofit organization.

The Intern will receive training and guidance in donor relations to equip them better to reach out to donors, volunteers, prospective donors/volunteers, and corporate partners to say "thank you" in meaningful and unique ways. The Intern will focus on expressing appreciation for the time, talent, treasures, and ties of all who support Foster Success. The Donor & Volunteer Relations Intern serves as a voice and face of Foster Success when making calls, writing thank you notes, and doing outreach with supporters. The candidate will be expected to approach their work in a warm, genuine, and professional manner.

This internship offers flexibility to work remotely. A schedule will be determined with the supervisor. The Intern reports to the Assistant Director of Development.
