Location Description:

Hawks Cay Resort, an iconic destination resort in the Florida Keys, reopened in August 2018 following a $50 million renovation. A recipient of the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award and a member of the Preferred Hotel Group Lifestyle Collection, this 60-acre, tropical destination boasts 177 guestrooms and 250 two
and three-bedroom villas, a full-service marina, six restaurants, saltwater lagoon, five swimming pools, kid and teen clubs and spa.

Overview:

JOB SUMMARY:

  1. Work closely with the Director of Revenue to enhance the profitability of the hotel through maximizing revenue and increasing occupancy on a day-to-day basis.
  1. Monitoring all distribution channels (SynXis, SMS, OTAs, Siteminder, etc)
  1. Interacting with the Sales Department in evaluating pieces of business to maximize space and revenue.
  1. Communicating with the Front Desk and Reservation staff on selling strategies
  1. Complete all necessary reports with respect to rooms revenue and determine proper action
  1. Run reports needed to assist with forecasting room revenue and monitoring rooms budget on an ongoing basis
  1. Attend all meetings on a regular basis with the appropriate information.
  1. Enter STR data and run weekly data reports
  1. Extend promotions or close out depending on occupancy
  1. Set up new rate plans, packages setup, and build promo documents for marketing and reservations
  1. Monitor Competitive set rate strategy and communicate changes/updates to the Director of Revenue
  1. Send out new and updated special offers from wholesalers to reservations
  1. Update and set out wholesale volume report, consortia production report
  1. Sync and monitor room inventory in SynXis and SMS Host


Qualifications:

Applicant should have a college degree and preferably have prior experience in revenue management. Applicants must have good computer, communication and organization skills; be assertive and have a good rapport with people.
