Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for managing projects, implementing new manufacturing methods, and working with robotics. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD design and experience in the manufacturing industry. Will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems, including circuit boards, motors, and wiring or lighting installations, while ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Oversee and manage various manufacturing projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Robotics:

Work with robotic systems used in the manufacturing process. This includes programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of robotic systems. CAD Design:

Utilize CAD software to design and optimize manufacturing processes and systems. Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products. Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. Implement new manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and product quality. Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality control to ensure seamless production processes. Design:

Develop electrical, and mechanical products and systems to meet customer requirements. Conduct design reviews to ensure system conformance and safety. Testing:

Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications. Maintenance:

Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in project management and manufacturing engineering. Strong knowledge of CAD software and design principles. Experience working with robotics in a manufacturing setting. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. CNC mechanical background preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes. Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Minimum Qualifications Associates degree in mechanical design 5 years’ experience in fixture or mechanical design 5 years’ experience with Autodesk Inventor software Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Working knowledge of the internet
