Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Business Partner will be instrumental in continuing to build employee engagement and maintain strong employee relations. This is an extremely visible and integral position, requiring someone with strong HR leadership abilities, who is a seasoned professional.

The HR Business Partner will be involved in Engaging and working close with Vice Presidents, Executive Directors and Assistant Vice Presidents to understand human capital needs of this group and effectively communicate defined responses.

The HR Business Partner is also responsible for aligning business and HR Strategy for assigned partnerships, deploying talents and development programs and distributes HR Operation Excellence.

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in related field required or Associates degree with 5 years of Human Resource experience.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: SPHR Preferred

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years for Bachelor prepared and 5 years for Associate prepared years in Human Resources required. This position also requires strong visibility and strong leadership abilities. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires repetitive motion, fingering, hearing, pushing, reaching, reading, calculating, seeing, speaking, standing and walking a majority of the time. This position also works with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine copier and telephone. Occasional driving also required. The essential functions for this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

This position reports to department leadership.
