**HERES WHAT YOULL DO**
As a Senior Strategist for Shopper Commerce, youll lead and support strategy development to bring to life the most effective and resonant shopper, digital, omnichannel, and anywhere commerce marketing programs a top-tier brand can make. Youll structure problems with innovative frameworks, synthesize insights across multiple data sources, and assert a strategic point-of-view to guide the marketing priorities of each program (and client business overall). Youll partner with creatives, business leads, research, experiential design, and other disciplines within Momentums network to ensure strategy is properly reflected across all initiatives / touchpoints, and that all efforts drive toward our clients brand objectives (and partner retailer priorities). Youll bring inspiration and innovation to the fast-evolving commerce landscape and help evolve the agency's POV on consumer behavior and shopper experiences.
**STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT**
* Act as brand champion, leading strategy development for assigned account(s) with obsessive eye toward delivering on your clients business goals and objectives
* Leverage existing frameworks and methodologies to structure strategic issues and drive decision-making
* Digest and synthesize cultural, brand, shopper, and business data points and trends into compelling, actionable insights that drive effective, human-first marketing initiatives. Inform and partner with research team on qualitative & quantitative studies as needed.
* Use a hypothesis-driven approach to partner with internal and external clients to identify and solve business issues through marketing strategies and tactical plans that drive powerful shopper, retail, & digital commerce activations
* Work with clients to determine and identify objectives, KPIs, and strategic imperatives, and ensure these goals are delivered
* Execute omni-channel strategies and tactics for agency across our process, products, people and clients
**CREATIVE INSPIRATION & EXCELLENCE**
* Provide internal team with understanding of the cultural landscape, consumer behavior, competitive activity and emerging technologies as well as larger global trends
* Craft high quality, compelling, and inspirational creative briefings to jumpstart creative ideas and activation ideation
* Partner with creative and business leads to review creative work & guide idea development to remain on brief and delivering on client objectives, constraints, and commerce realities
* Thoughtfully communicate creative ideas and strategic POVs with the client: deliver well-devised, clear, concise, and compelling client presentations to sell in recommendations (across multiple stakeholder audiences)
**SHOPPER & RETAIL EXPERTISE**
* Proactively pursue knowledge and understanding across the modern commerce landscape (e.g., shopper, retail, digital, eComm, connected commerce, etc.), and use this knowledge to consistently elevate our work, capability, and client credibility
**GROWTH**
* Act as a thoughtful, consultative partner to our clients, building strong relationships and working to identify challenges and structure solutions that Momentum (or broader network partners) can solve
* Participate in the identification, prioritization and scoping of client opportunities, including new business proposals
**HERES WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)**
* Must have 5+ years relevant experience within an agency, consulting, or large CPG company role
* Bachelors degree, with preference for BBA focused studies
* Demonstrated expertise in shopper, retail, and/or commercial strategy & planning, with experience across both traditional and digital- or ecommerce-led execution
* Strong business acumen and successful leadership of project-based work, with experience with consultative selling techniques or new business pitch work
* Strong presentation development, design, and creative writing capabilities
* Ability to manage multiple projects and clients at once, attacking with agility and managing time & resources smartly to deliver on the needs of each
* Hands-on qualitative and quantitative research experience
* Able to lead projects independently and partner with a team of highly driven individuals
* A strong passion and dedication for something creative or personally inspiring that *isnt* your jobthis is just work, after all
