Description

The Simulation Learning Strategist plans, develops and implements medical simulation education and training for the Phoebe Putney Health system which incorporates all campuses, service lines and departments (both clinical and non-clinical) and associated programs/partners. Provides Project Management Services and learner centered solutions for education, training and simulation activities at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Identifies and promotes education and training best practices that enhance clinical outcomes, team performance, patient safety and quality improvement efforts. Supports strategic planning, simulation team supervision, and design/development for system-wide customers. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of Phoebe. Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in in Nursing (Required) Non Degree Program in Team STEPPS Master Trainer (Preferred) Master's Degree in Simulation, Education, Nursing, Technology or related discipline. (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 5 - 6 Years experience in healthcare (Required) 3 - 4 years experience in simulation (Required) 3 - 4 years healthcare education/teaching experience (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
  • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Georgia, Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (Preferred)
