Your presence will reduce delays in emergency OB/GYN care, improve outcomes, increase patient satisfaction and support community clinicians. Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is a community hospital with 133 beds that offers acute care, a surgical facility and provides a full range of integrated women’s health services. It has been designated as an AAGL Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecology. The hospital houses a Level II NICU, and offers prenatal care, birthing specialists and mammogram services. Fredericksburg is an independent city located on the banks of the Rappahannock River. It is home to more than 28,000 residents and is part of the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria metro area. Fredericksburg is located 53 miles south of Washington, D.C. and 58 miles north of Richmond.
