Job Description

Position Objective : Develop and maintain data sources to support Business Intelligence reporting and analysis requirements for Eurofins laboratories across the Globe.
Position Responsibilites:
Develop new and improve existing ETL processes to load data into tabular models, data warehouses and other data structures as best fit for solving business requirements for reporting and further data analysis including machine learning.
Collaborate with business analyst and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Analyze existing data processing to identify and implement improved methods for preparing data.
Design and implement reports in PowerBI.
Investigate approaches for moving data processing to cloud-native (Azure) tools & technologies.
Implement data security measures to protect sensitive data.
Optimize data platforms for performance and cost efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Code review other team members work, providing constructive feedback and identifying potential bugs and gaps in design & implementation.
Partner with other team members for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data.
Create & maintain documentation on design and intent of data processes and data structures
Provide recommendations to software application teams on potential changes to data structures to address performance issues or improve processing abilities
Continuously enhancing knowledge and skills, staying updated on data architecture and cloud technology.
Evaluate, recommend and implement new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and management processes.
Build and maintain development and test systems.

Qualifications

What we are looking for in a qualified candidate:
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry, terms and processes i.e. GXP
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS)
Microsoft PowerShell
Excellent English communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing).
Very good interpersonal relation skills at all levels of the organization, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in an organization.
Ability to work in a complex international environment.
Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail
Ability to acquire new skills quickly
Desire to work in a collaborative team environment
Position Minimum Qualifications:
B.S or equivalent in the field of Computer Science

or related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
Minimum 5 years

of experience in IT Application/Software Development field
Minimum 2 years

in a data-centric engineering role
Hands on experience with ETL design and coding in business intelligence and data warehousing environments, including the ability to design and execute using industry best practices.
Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services particularly with tabular models including MDX and DAX queries
Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI platform including Power Query expressions
Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills including creating stored procedures, functions & views
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information

Position is Full Time, Hybrid- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
