Maintenance Associate

Maintenance Associate Location: Utica, NY Reports To: Plant Operations Lead Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (Day Shift) Compensation: $22-$28/hour depending on experience Overview: Mandia International is looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Maintenance Associate to support day-to-day upkeep and improvements across our facility. This is a critical role for keeping our plant running smoothly from plumbing repairs and light electrical work to supporting routine equipment maintenance and facility projects. Were not looking for a specialist. Were looking for someone whos comfortable doing a little of everything, with the right mix of self-direction, problem-solving, and curiosity to learn and take on more responsibility over time. Key Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance across the facility, including: Light plumbing and pipework Minor electrical and lighting repairs Equipment upkeep and support for production machinery Facility upkeep (doors, floors, safety systems, etc.) Support preventive maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting Work collaboratively with operations and warehouse teams to respond to repair needs Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in clean, organized condition Participate in special projects or equipment upgrades as needed Willingness to be trained on new systems and grow into broader responsibilities What Were Looking For: 2-5 years of hands-on maintenance or mechanical experience (manufacturing environment a plus) Comfortable with basic tools, mechanical systems, and small repairs Self-motivated and willing to ask questions, learn, and grow Able to work independently and prioritize tasks Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail Bonus: experience with forklifts, boilers, valves, compressors, or food production equipment Why Join Mandia?
