Position Overview: Are you ready to be the hero who captures those crucial MRI images that help patients on their path to recovery? MLee Healthcare (MLR.org) is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech to join our esteemed team at a premier healthcare facility in South Connecticut. As an MRI Tech, youll operate top-of-the-line MRI scanners, ensuring our patients are comfortable while producing high-quality images. Your role is essential, and we believe it should be filled with joy, camaraderie, and a little bit of fun

Key Responsibilities:

Make every patient feel like a superstar by guiding them through the MRI process with a friendly approach and calming demeanor.
Use our state-of-the-art MRI equipment to capture detailed images of organs, tissues, and structures, helping our team diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on MRI machines to ensure theyre always in top shape for optimal performance.
Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to comprehensive patient care.
Accurately record and manage patient information, imaging results, and any other relevant details in our electronic health systems.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and comfortable environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) and state licensure as required by Connecticut.
Previous experience in MRI imaging is preferred, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
Strong communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and a knack for problem-solving. Bonus points if you have a great sense of humor and love working as part of a team
