Part-Time Hospitalist Job - Alma, Michigan AVAILABILITY / SCHEDULE: Start Date: Not specified (Replacement role) Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (rotating days and nights) Nights: Every 8 weeks Census: 15-16 patients per day LICENSING & CERTIFICATIONS: Degree Required: MD or DO License: Michigan medical license (or eligible to obtain) Certifications: AHA-approved BLS AHA-approved ACLS COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Base Salary: Competitive, with RVU-based incentive compensation Full Benefits Package: CME allowance Paid Time Off (vacation, sick, CME, personal days) Health, dental, vision, pharmacy, and life insurance Short-term and long-term disability Professional liability with tail coverage Relocation allowance Retirement plans: 403(b) with employer contribution and 457(b) tax-deferred plan CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Medical management of adult inpatients Admission orders and H&P documentation Responding to rapid responses Consultations and co-management General inpatient admissions REASON FOR RECRUITMENT: Replacement hire LIFESTYLE & LOCATION INFORMATION: Alma offers a peaceful small-town atmosphere with access to cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities.
