Associate Creative Director Clear US Dayton, Ohio Hybrid Remote

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Associate Creative/Design Director for Clear, a global strategy consultancy which forms part of the M&C Saatchi Consulting pillar of M&C Saatchi Group. This person will lead on the creation and delivery of world-class, strategic design solutions across brand, experience and innovation projects while contributing to an inspiring and connected global creative culture. This is a full-time role based in Dayton on a hybrid working basis. This is also an exciting role for a candidate who is passionate about collaboration and helping to unlock opportunities, as this position has the potential to work closely with other businesses in the M&C Saatchi Consulting pillar to grow our U.S. presence and deliver world-class design in partnership with other renowned creative teams across the network. The successful candidate will be multidisciplinary and understand how to create experiences – anything from video to digital applications to a pop-up store. No two days are the same at Clear; from designing brand identity and guidelines for a leading fashion brand to defining the end-to-end ownership experience for one of the world’s leading auto brands, there are always a wide range of amazing clients and challenges to take on. The ideal candidate should also understand how to build successful strategies, as this role works very closely with strategy consultants at Clear. Specifically, this role will focus on the following activities: Take creative leadership on assigned client accounts Develop innovative, strategic and cutting-edge design solutions across mediums from concept through implementation that translate, support and activate the brand or business strategy Help direct and inspire other creative team members to fulfill client needs and elevate the quality of our work Provide clear, insightful, and objective critiques of creative work in connection to the strategic vision Help build a strong creative culture within the team – mentoring, motivating and retaining more junior designers while promoting creative philosophy and understanding across the broader organization Remain current and communicate industry trends and techniques including knowledge of digital tools and AI Contribute to business development through new and organic growth opportunities Contribute to pitches and proposals to ensure creative is meaningfully leveraged to bring our work to life Support client management, financial reporting, forecasting, and profitability About You This role is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an ambitious business where the opportunities are endless. Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following experiences and strengths: B.A./B.S. or equivalent in Graphic/Digital Design or Visual Communications Minimum 5 years’ design experience with 2-4 years’ experience managing/leading creative teams Driven to deliver big, visionary ideas that enable transformation An outstanding track record and body of work that demonstrates creativity, strong visual aesthetic, strategic thinking, practicality, and effectiveness across any or all of a range of sectors: CPG, retail, healthcare, technology, corporate identity, etc. Multidisciplinary design knowledge with ability and passion to guide the optimal brand experience across a variety of touchpoints and mediums (digital, print, pack, environment, video/motion, etc.) Experience incorporating research in strategic design processes Experience with and understanding of 3D environments A proven team player, driven by delivering results through collaboration Strong visual, verbal and written communication skills with confidence presenting ideas that demonstrate strategic design thinking A detail-oriented and pragmatic problem solver Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment About Clear Clear M&C Saatchi is a global strategy consultancy with offices in London, New York, Dallas, Dayton, and Singapore that specializes in insight-led strategy and design for brand, experience and innovation.
