Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Nov 24, 2025, for a 159-day contract, offering day shifts Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of gastroenterology experience, an active NY license, and active BLS certification. Familiarity with EPIC is highly preferred. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Nov 24, 2025 LOA: 159 days Provider Type Needed: Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive gastroenterology patient care under physician supervision Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations related to gastroenterology Order and interpret diagnostic tests Develop and implement patient management plans Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to all facility protocols and regulatory requirements Additional Information Must have at least 3 years of gastroenterology experience as outlined on CV Active NY license required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required EPIC experience highly preferred Board certification in gastroenterology required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
