The Benefits Specialist is responsible for administering and managing employee benefits programs within Luxium Solutions in the US. This role ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations, provides guidance to employees regarding their benefits, and collaborates with HR and management to enhance benefits offerings. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to effectively manage and explain complex benefits information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, disability coverage, workers compensation, and leave of absence.
  • Coordinate open enrollment processes, including communication, system updates, and employee education.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries about benefits, including coverage details, claims, and eligibility.
  • HR Systems and Data Management: Support the HR function with HRIS to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Project Management: lead and manage HR projects such as implementations, process improvements, audits, and employee communication / engagement activities.
Requirements
  • Bachlors Degree in HR, Business or related field
  • 2 years of experience in leave and benefit administration or similar HR role
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing/multi-site environment
  • Familiarity with HRIS (ADP) and benefits management systems
  • Computer proficiency, including a strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Intermediate spreadsheet and presentations skills.
  • Working knowledge of benefit laws and regulations - federal, state, local
