The Cloud Developer is expected to drive existing capabilities in areas focused on design, architecture, Cloud, DevOps, big data, and security to deliver transformational and scalable cloud solutions. This exciting opportunity is in Washington, DC supporting a large Department of Justice program with the following responsibilities:

Specific Responsibilities will include: Research, architect, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software including DevOps, security, and data analytic solutions. Collaborate and support the planning of system and development deployment as well as meeting software compliance standards with a particular focus involving integrations and data analytic solutions. Implement prototypes using new technologies and innovative techniques. Performs ongoing maintenance and review of application systems and programs, identifies problems, and develops appropriate solutions.

Location:

Washington D.C. (On-site Hybrid, 2 days/wk remote)

Required Skills: • Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of Obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, or related field. • Minimum of 3+ years of development experience in at least one high level language: Java, C++, .NET, or another compiled language. • At least 3+ years of experience designing and deploying large scale distributed environments within commercial cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP). • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Java, Python, Bash, or Javascript. • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems across a large enterprise. • Demonstrate skills in DevOps and software development and commercial cloud integration. • Demonstrate a flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and ability to handle change easily while meeting deadlines. • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences verbally and in writing to design efficient and effective applications. • Work independently and in a team environment, to give and receive direction.
