Come join our team of dedicated professionals that are committed to delivering the best patient care.What You Will Do In This RoleMaintain and use the BD FACSLyric flow cytometer to generate dataAnalyze 10+ color flow cytometry using FCSExpress softwareDemonstrate thorough knowledge of hematopoietic disorders and understands various morphology results in neoplastic processesPerform and analyze IVD testing methodologiesResponsible for processing and analyzing of specimens for immunophenotying testing from bone marrow, blood, and various tissuesMaintain and operate equipment used to prepare samples for analytical testingAdhere to the laboratory’s quality control policies: document all QC activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenanceProvide guidance and training to less experienced staffEducation/Certifications*Baccalaureate degree with a major in biological science, medical science or chemistry. *One+ years’ experience of high complexity testing in a hands-on flow cytometry field as well as in depth knowledge of leukemia and lymphoma is required. *Technical experience with BD Biosciences flow cytometric instrumentation is preferred. *MT (ASCP) or equivalent, additional QCYM (ASCP) certification is highly desirable.
