Job Description Our Client is a Japanese Listed Manufacturing company that provides a wide range of services in areas such as motive systems and freight-handling management, as well as in LED lighting and other utility-service fields, through comprehensive research efforts in electricity. The main clients are from the Marine industry. They are handling the manufacturing and installation of all electrical panels and cable laying for all vessels. They hold the majority portion of marine vessels in Japan. What you will be doing Manage the Electrical systems in Shipping Vessels. Work on site (shipyard, at refueling berths, container yard). Be dispatched to overseas sites (ASEA countries / Middle East / EU, etc.). Study, analyze and review electrical drawings and provide appropriate advice. Provide technical advice to sales and technical explanations to customers. Train engineering concepts of our company’s products to trainees from various countries. Work with customers, both locally and internationally on various critical issues and operation matters (email/phone). Any other ad-hoc duties assigned. Qualifications Requirement What they are looking for At least 3 years of Maintenance Engineering experience in engines/automobiles/motorcycles/ships/machinery/electrical equipment. Willing to go on business trips (25% per month). Comfortable working at a height. Have knowledge of electronic engineering. Have interest in marine equipment. Able to work OT. Possesses a Valid Class 3 driving license. Possess Vessel Experience. Has SVS (Supervisor safety course) certification is advantaged. Engineering experience in the Boiler/Marine industry. Benefit AWS - Variable Bonus (Depend on Company & Individual performance). Transportation Allowance (Home to Office). Transportation Expenses (Company car will be provided). Business Travel Expenses. Medical allowance $500 per year. Company insurance medical check once a year after confirmation. Overtime Allowance will be paid (10-30 hours average/Month).
