Field Service Supervisor

Core Responsibilities The supervisor position is to assist in ensuring the flow of communication of all onsite/field processes. The position requires a positive attitude and commitment to excellence. The supervisor will be supported by the area service manager, distribute information, assign work responsibilities, onboard/offboard employees, assess skill levels, summarize parts usage, and maintain logs. Daily Responsibilities Meet client shift leaders to strengthen customer relationships. Discuss machine priority to meet client deadlines. Schedule maintenance time with lowest client impact. Communicate shift events to the area manager via e?mail, phone, or face?to?face. Transfer shift event information to team leads when necessary. Support clean, safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Team Lead Specific Duties Manage daily activities of OSTs in a 6??24 environment and develop diagnostic techniques. Maintain shift schedule, vacation, and sick time documentation. Provide first?level technical support for escalation, track and resolve equipment issues. Offer technical expertise to production floor management, project managers, and customer service reps. Ensure all applications, paper stock, and envelopes meet BlueCrest and customer specifications. Provide front?line service leadership and value through optimization of application construction. Coordinate new local projects to improve performance on BlueCrest machines. Meet with customer services shift supervisors to resolve equipment and application concerns. Monitor and collect machine data for customer presentations. Recommend operator and technician training to the Area Service Manager and customers. Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule and coordinate equipment availability. Order emergency parts to maintain uptime objectives and support emergency activities. Monitor and collect machine cycle counts and Time/Material invoicing for billing processing. Work with BlueCrest sales account manager to maintain account stability and promote new solutions. Qualifications 10+ years experience in Electronics Technology, Computer Technology, or other technical related field. Ability to travel by air and ground; valid drivers license; meet BlueCrest Motor Vehicle Policy. Available to work evenings and/or weekends, including short?notice and on?call responsibilities. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Self?motivated, organized, and responsible to plan, execute, and document. Independent judgment and discretion; little supervision. Strong computer skills: Internet navigation, word processing, spreadsheets. Team player, assisting when and where needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
