Envision Imaging seeks a PRN CT Technologist at our Desoto, TX locationPRN (As-Needed)| Position Pay Range: $31.90 - $41.14Summary/Objective:The CT Technologists preforms CT examinations, positions patient, and performs cross-section anatomical scans using proper technical factors and computer programs to provide image and numerical values of tissue density.Essential Functions1. Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.3. Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.4. Performs exams while attending to patient's care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient's condition changes at any time.5. Transfers images to other locations as needed.6. Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.7. Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.8.
