Mead Lumber Company is hiring a Director of IT. Mead Lumber Company Inc, founded in 1910, is 100% Employee Owned, and was listed in the Lumber Building Materials Journal as the 18th largest Pro Contractor lumber/building materials retailer in the country. Mead operates 52 Lumber Yard, Retail, Truss Plant, and Component locations across 9 Midwestern states.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Director is primarily responsible for managing the company IT structure and team.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage company IT structure and team
Recommend and manage integration of projects through completion.
Evaluate current systems and recommend solutions.
Lead and develop team.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required.
College Degree preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Ability to lead and develop a team through change.
Ability to lead by example and create a culture that is customer oriented.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to recommend changes to drive business objectives.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, making clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
