Kuppa Joy is looking for positive and energetic team members with amazing service skills and a strong desire to learn about coffee. Every Kuppa Joy team member must be committed to delivering the highest quality coffee to our customers, but we also pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. Our locations are beautiful showcases of our world-class coffee, but it's the staff that makes Kuppa Joy truly special. We're expanding throughout the central valley, so there are very real opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain positivity and enthusiasm at all times

* Ensure that a quality product is being served to customers

* Promote an excellent experience for both employees and customers

* Have a clear knowledge on all inventory items

* Cash Handling/Register Operation

* Welcome and connect with every customer every time

* Anticipate customer and store needs by being aware of surroundings

* Take customer orders/service customer needs

* Consistently provide quality coffee beverages for customers

* Adhere to caf schedule

* Follow Kuppa Joy's cash handling procedures

* Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines

Specific Requirements:

* Retail experience preferred

* Excellent verbal communication skills

* Must be positive and approachable

* Well organized and detail oriented

* Ability to work well with a team

* Ability to learn quickly

* Logical and methodical approach to problem solving

* Flexible with the ability to multi-task in a highly demanding and sometimes stressful environment

* Available Weekends and Holidays is required

* Ability to obtain a CA food handlers certificate is required
