Job Specifications Education & Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required and three years of more experience as a Subsidy Monitoring Specialist Lead, Subsidy Lead or Subsidy Supervisor or other relevant Quality Assurance experience required, or any combination of education and experience which would enable the candidate to successfully perform the functions of the position. Technical Requirements : Proficient computer skills with the ability to use computer software that preforms a wide range of audit functions such as tracking audits and issues, creating and managing reports, etc. Intermediate proficiency utilizes Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Comprehensive experience and a high level of knowledge of the County, State, and Federal policies, procedures, rules, and regulations related to Alternative Payment programs. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a personal computer (PC) / laptop in a networked environment to utilize the Internet and other electronic communications mechanisms such as email, bulletin boards, etc. Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and forms. Ability to integrate technology into the everyday work flow is necessary. Ability to implement new technologies. Travel : This position may need to travel to CCRC’s offices throughout Los Angeles and San Bernardino County. Staff members driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance, current California Driver’s License and DMV clearance required. Work Schedule : Full time; non-traditional, irregular, and overtime hours may be required at times. Work environment:

We provide child development and early education, workforce development opportunities, child care financial assistance, Head Start preschool and Early Head Start services and more for close to 50,000 parents, children, and child care providers each month in Northern Los Angeles County, including Antelope Valley, and the entirety of San Bernardino County, including an office in Victorville, serving a total geographic area of 22,500 square miles. Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) assists close to 50,000 parents, children, and child care providers each month in Northern Los Angeles County and the entirety of San Bernardino County serving a total area of 22,500 square miles. Since 1976, CCRC has been managing programs to assist with issues such as finding and selecting child care, child care financial assistance, school readiness, home visiting, and research and program evaluation. Children and families benefit from these programs, allowing parents to go to work and attend school, contribute to the economy and strengthen their families and the community. CCRC's early care & education specialists offer parents and child care professionals assistance ranging from finding child care and child development ages & stages to marketing child care businesses and CPR training and certification. CCRC operates and oversees Head Start Birth-5 programs for a total of 3,312 children. These programs promote school readiness and family engagement to ensure a healthy development of children and their families. Children benefit from a high quality preschool education as well as medical and dental exams. Through CCRC’s literacy campaign “What a Difference a Book Makes,” we have collected 800,000 age-appropriate books. It is the agency’s belief that the cognitive benefits of literacy are immeasurable and have a large impact on the ability of an economy to generate and sustain wealth.
