Overview:

As a Line Cook team, you would be responsible for preparing food items according to standard recipes. Prepare food items, maintaining and cleaning work station. Stock and properly stores all food items to meet sanitation standards. This individual is required to be detailed oriented; works well in a team environment and enjoys serving customers in a positive, friendly and courteous manner. They must be passionate about providing exceptional service and hospitality.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment
  • Follow plate specs and recipes to prepare soups, meats, seafood, sauces, vegetables, desserts, and other food products
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
  • Maintain spotlessly clean and sanitized restaurant and safe work environment.
  • Label and date all food stored & Rotate food as needed
  • Follow approved preparation procedures and presentation standards
  • Constantly inspects all food service sections during service time to ensure that the correct standards are maintained
  • Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhering to all State, federal and OSHA regulations
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Previous line experience preferred
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • Able to prepare food according to food handlers guidelines
  • Knowledge of where and how everything is stored
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexible with job duties
  • Able to work all shifts and holidays
  • Follow opening and closing procedures
  • Able to multi-task
  • Background Check required
