**Description**

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Prepare storage areas for incoming raw materials and as materials are unloaded ensure they are stored in an orderly manner

* Assist in the unloading/loading of materials by unstrapping/strapping of the load and being present on the load to manipulate materials in a position that allows them to be unloaded/loaded

* Prepare trailer for materials to be loaded

* Inspect product for quality as it's being loaded or unloaded

* Maintain a clean and orderly work area by ensuring all scrap is cleaned-up after each load is finalized

* Secure all outbound product on trailers per DOT regulations

* Verify, confirm, scan and sign-off that the product on the truck matches the required product per the loading documentation

* Communicate issues and progress with Coordinators, Leads and team members between departments and shifts as necessary

* Load in a manner that will not result in damages to product

* Other duties as assigned

**Education & Experience Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent

**Job Specifications:**

* Ability to work in a team environment

* Ability to take direction

* Good communication skills

* Basic computer and mathematical skills

* Ability to operate shop machinery

* LP and electric fork truck experience helpful

* Ability to operate material handling equipment safely

* Proven good attendance record

* Ability to work from elevated heights

* Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions

**Hours:**

* 1 PM - 9 PM, Mondays - Fridays

**Other Special Requirements:**

* Some overtime may be required
