The Caf at The Edgewater is a comfortable corner spot to order a cup of coffee and a bite to eat, while relaxing inside or outside on our caf patio. We serve house-made pastries and lighter breakfast fare, as well as made to order coffee and espresso drinks. **What You Have**

* Previous experience making and serving coffee beverages is a plus.

* The focus to ensure correct order taking and prompt service to our guests, while allowing guests the freedom to customize orders to their needs.

* The ability to learn new drink recipes and create a strong foundation of coffee beverage preparation.

* The organizational skills to keep our Caf area neatly organized and always stocked in order to deliver exceptional service.

* A caring, positive attitude with a genuine interest in ensuring our customers have memorable experiences.

* Excellent customer service skills with the desire to work in a team environment.

* A self-driven, entrepreneurial attitude towards achieving your goals.

* The ability to physically perform the duties required of our Caf Baristas including restocking beverage and food items, carrying food trays, delivering drinks, carrying drinking glasses, plate ware and flatware through kitchen areas, occasionally moving tables and chairs.

**Working Conditions**

This position operates in a full-service, professional restaurant & hotel environment. Caf Baristas are required to use standard restaurant equipment such as point-of-sale computers, cash registers, commercial glassware and plate ware cleaning systems, etc. Their work can require them to move through our kitchen areas as well when receiving food orders and returning dishware. This position requires weekend work.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position is very active and is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
