With our partnershipwith North Shore, there is an opportunity to become a permanent employee at one of our facilities.EssentialJob Duties & Responsibilities (CNA) Attend to the individual needs of residents which may include assistance in personal and oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs not listed Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report these changes to appropriate licensed nursing personnel Provide care that maintains each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin, etc Answer residents' call lights promptly and courteously Perform various tasks assigned by the charge nurse including vital signs, residents' weights, applying creams/ointments, collecting specimens, etc Assist with orienting residents and their families to the nursing home upon admission and to the unit when transfers occur Lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention Communicate and interact effectively and respectfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors Document care provided or other information in keeping with department policiesTheduties and responsibilities listed above are not all inclusive. There may beother tasks assigned to the role that should be managed professionally andrespectfully.Skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to lift and move patients Excellent written and verbal communication Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents and family alike Exceptional customer service Work as a team mentality Ability to multi-task, and accomplish and meet time lines Competency to complete any procedure ordered within realm of job of a Certified Nursing AssistantPossess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents/patients and the elderlyQualificationsTo beconsidered for this role, a candidate must hold a current Nursing AssistantCertification in Wisconsin and have at least 3 months experience in long-term care.Candidatesmust also have reliable means of transportation and a negative TB test, validwithin the last 6 weeks.CompensationPay isdetermined based on years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.PayRange: $22-$25 per hourMidwestClinical Resource, LLC is not a 1099 employer.Clickhere to apply todaymwclinicalresource.hcshiring.comNSHC1
