Job Summary:

As a Civil Engineer with EIT certification, you will play a crucial role in various engineering projects from conception to completion. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with senior engineers and project managers to design, plan, and execute a wide range of civil engineering projects. Your technical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills will contribute to the successful delivery of diverse projects, including transportation infrastructure, water resources, commercial structures, and public works initiatives.

Responsibilities:
•Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to conceptualize and plan civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
•Engineering Analysis: Conduct technical analysis, feasibility studies, and simulations to evaluate the viability and effectiveness of proposed engineering solutions.
•CAD and Modeling: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and modeling tools to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
•Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
•Construction Support: Provide support during the construction phase, including site inspections, construction administration, and resolution of any on-site engineering challenges.
•Quality Assurance: Ensure quality and accuracy of engineering deliverables, adhering to established quality control procedures.
•Client Interaction: Interact with clients, stakeholders, and external agencies to address concerns, provide project updates, and maintain positive relationships.
•Safety and Sustainability: Incorporate safety protocols and sustainable practices into the design and execution of projects, prioritizing environmental consciousness and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:
•Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
•EIT Certification: Must possess a valid Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in Texas or be eligible for immediate certification transfer from another state.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD, Revit and MicroStation
•Strong Knowledge: Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements specific to Texas.
•Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex engineering challenges and propose effective solutions.
•Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
•Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment, handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
