Position Title: Overflow Server, Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center Pay Rate: $12.48 + Gratuity Job Summary The Banquet Server is responsible for providing warm hospitality to our guests and efficiently delivering exceptional service to our catering events. Service Review each events Banquet Event Order (BEO) with management Attend staff pre?shift meetings when applicable Properly set up (rolled flat ware, service ware, linens, risers, coffee urns, menu tags, menus), maintain (clean, organize, replenish food, coffee and other beverage products), and break down assigned services and work areas, inclusive of service areas, according to Levy Standards Serve guests and maintain stations Retrieve additional supplies and small equipment throughout service as needed Pass and buss beverages when required Properly clear all banquet wares (including all bar ware/beverage ware) Complete consumption sheets when required Maintain clean and organized work station and service areas Deliver exceptional service Act with a sense of urgency with respect to guest and event needs Controls Employ good safety and sanitation practices to prevent hazards, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, and burns, and report injuries, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions to management; contact Public Safety in the event of emergencies Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and property rules Follow responsible alcohol service policies Thoroughly complete all responsibilities and assignments Team Display a positive attitude Assist others when necessary and/or requested Qualifications Walk and stand throughout entire shift Lifts and transports trays weighing up to 5075 lbs Pushes and pulls carts, racks, and product weighing up to 250 lbs Read, speak, write, and comprehend English Apply to Levy today Levy is a member of Compass Group USA.
