Geriatric Psychiatrist

at HealthAlliance- Clinton Hospital in Central Massachusetts. Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for the delivery of comprehensive, clinically effective psychiatric care to Geriatrics on the inpatient setting Duties include admission assessments, diagnostic formulation, medication management, treatment planning and the discharge of patients. Models collaborative practice by fostering a culture of trust, respect and fairness to all stake holders and all clinical staff Participates in weekday evening and weekend is optional and provides additional compensation The Department has outstanding training programs which include 27 residents and fellows as well as 16 trainees. Our Psychiatry positions offer the opportunity for involvement in a full range of activities. We are a national leader in public sector psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, neurodevelopmental disorders, biological psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, forensic psychiatry, psychosocial rehabilitation, women’s mental health, and addiction psychiatry.
