We are currently looking for a Full Time Operations Shift Supervisor, NB to join our Texoma Casino Operations U1 team located at the Texoma Casino working .Summary:Supervises Electronic Games employees on designated shift, ensures compliance with all gaming regulations and internal policies and procedures, as well as, implements staffing/development plans and related procedures designated to enhance departmental operations and growth.Responsibilities:* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines and meets needs- Seeks positive experience and outcomes- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards- May provide break coverage for others as assigned- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit* Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development* Resolves guest complaints using reflective listening, courtesy, and providing financial resolution as needed to create a winning experience for the customer and facility* Compares machine and ticket discrepancies by using the ACSC system as needed* Prepares shift reports* Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility- Participates in candidate selection process- Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff- Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff- Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies- Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff- Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues* Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area* Ensures all audits, reports and other operational communications are accurate and timely- Completes a variety of standard and ad hoc reports as required- Assists staff with accomplishing goals- Ensures staff stays in assigned areas- Investigates and resolves discrepancies- Resolves minor employee concerns- Communicates area performance and operational information to line of support- Approves/denies time off requests* May direct and support staff in other areas as needed* All other duties as assignedCompetencies:Essential:* Follow instructions, written or oral * Ensures compliance* Adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Builds effective working relationships* Individual or small group training on specific tasks or procedures* Communicates verbally with team, departments, guests and management* Interpersonal skills to motivate, investigate, inspire* Writes effective communications with team, departments, guests and management* Keeps written recordsSkills:Essential:* Count lrg amts of cash by hand / with cash counting machines* Basic Computer skills* Perform minor repairs on gaming machinesExperience:Essential:* 1 year directly related experienceEducation:Essential:* High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Essential:* Pass gaming background check* CN Core Leadership Level 1* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:Essential:* Smoking - cigarette smoke* Bright and Flashing lights* Fast-paced* Loud* Noisy* Potential exposure to blue and or white light* Communications written, verbal* May be required to assist individuals who are emotionally disturbed* Pass pre-employment drug test* Hand-eye coord, reach and grasp* Manual dexterity* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs* Standing up to 100% of shift* Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception* Walk up to 100% of shift* Day shift* May work evening shift* May work holidays* May work night shift* May be on-call* May work rotating shifts* May work weekend shift
