The Pharmacy Manager-Retail is responsible for effective administration and management of the retail pharmacy. 1) assimilation and provision of comprehensive information on drugs and their actions; 2) development and conduct of a product formulation and packaging program; 3) development and conduct of patient-oriented services; 4) conduct and participation in department activities of pharmacy personnel.Important Tasks: Ensures the development and conduct of patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services including: a) drug information; b) collection of the pharmacy patient data base; c) patient education; d) monitoring and auditing of therapeutic drug regimes; e) drug use review; f) monitoring of specific adverse drug reactions; and g) other services, as required, to optimize drug use in patient care.Prioritizes and delegates job tasks to ensure timely completion.Reviews all retail medication orders for appropriate and rational therapy, checking for proper dosages, potential drug interactions, and adverse reactions.Assumes responsibility for running weekly and monthly reports.Enforces and educates pharmacy personnel and other related health practitioners on the laws, codes, and regulations that pertain to the services and equipment provided by the company.Hours: 4 weekdays alternating with 3 weekdays and aSaturday (closed on Sunday)We believe that offering a robust line of benefits supports our employee's desire to have a more fulfilling career with WB.
