Customer Location: Constitution Center, 400 7th St, SW, Washington, DC 20024 (Close proximity to L'Enfant Plaza metro station).

Performance Location: 100% Remote, with occasional travel to customer location when requested.

Availability: Immediately.

The position requires security candidates be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder to obtain a clearance from the US Federal Government.

Salary based on experience.

Position Overview:

Encentric is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to support the Federal Housing and Finance Administration (FHFA) in Washington, DC. Successful candidates will posses a combination of requirements analysis and Software Quality Testing (SQT) experience to support FHFA's 45 web-based business applications for internal and external customers.

Minimum Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
Minimum Required Experience:
  • 8 years of experience in field.
  • 6 years experience supporting Agile-based SDLC environments using .Net Framework, Visual Studio, HTML 5, CSS, JSON, XML, and SQL Server.
  • 3 years of experience supporting cloud and hybrid cloud applications using Microsoft Azure DevOps Server
  • 2 years Experience with Telerik Test Studio or similar automated testing tools.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements.
  • Elicit, analyze and develop business/ functional requirements.
  • Refine, define requirements and communicate them clearly to stakeholders and application developers.
  • Translate and simplify requirements, review test cases, process change requests, and support management of a projects scope, acceptance, installation and deployment.
  • Prioritize requirements with the client and help create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.
  • Verify and validate that the software solution satisfies the requirements.
  • Confirm the correctness of previously elicited requirements through testing:
    • Define the testing activities and test planning.
    • Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
    • Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
    • Perform regression testing when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
