Purchaser/Buyer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services needed for our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control.
Duties:
- Source and procure materials, goods, and services required by the company
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to manage purchasing activities
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost metrics
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing activities
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control principles
- Proficiency in using procurement software such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar systems
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously
Note: All positions at our company are paid positions. Internship positions are also compensated.
