Project Manager

Overview:

MSA has an opportunity for a full time Project Manager - Transportation. The position can be based in any of the following Wisconsin offices: Appleton, Baraboo, Beaver Dam, Kiel, Madison, Marshfield, Milwaukee, Rhinelander, Rice Lake as well as Duluth, MN. The location of this position, including a remote working option, is flexible based upon experience. The work you will do

• Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
• Client relations including virtual or applicable in person meetings with existing and new clients
• Design of transportation infrastructure projects
• Preparation of details, specifications, and bidding documents
• Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
• Review and respond to proposals for projects with assistance from MSA team members
• Assist with mentoring junior staff
• Construction observation

What you bring
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required
• Minimum of 10 years of mobility/transportation engineering experience is required
• PE license required (WI PE preferred)
• WisDOT project experience preferred
• Previous client liaison and project management experience or a desire to step into that role is required
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to work in a consulting environment
• We are looking for a seller/doer that is self-motivated with a desire to be hands on
