**Job Description**
* Responsible for all receiving and shipping movements, inventory management and cycle counts in a large manufacturing driven warehouse facility.
* Participate in planning for optimal rack and bin designs.
* Inventory warehouse supplies, and requisition or purchase additional items as necessary.
* Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance.
* Evaluate employee performance and prepare performance appraisals.
* Prepare and maintain work records and reports of information such as employee time and wages, daily receipts, and inspection results.
* Counsel employees in work-related activities, personal growth, and career development.
* Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
* Assess training needs of staff and arrange for or provide appropriate instruction.
* Estimate material, time, and staffing requirements for a given project, based on work orders, job specifications, and experience.
* Participate in the hiring process by reviewing credentials, conducting interviews, or making hiring decisions or recommendations.
* Enforce safety procedures and policies and compliance with OSHA and other government agencies.
* Ensure co-workers are following safety rules and are demonstrating safe working behavior.
* Participate in monthly safety committee meetings and site safety inspections.
* Complete a thorough accident investigation report with corrective action when needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
**Education:**

Associate or Bachelor degree preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations management, or other related field
**Experience:**

7+ years related warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment; 3+ years supervisory/leadership experience
**Computer Skills:**

MS-Office Suite, Warehouse management system (WMS), and scanner system technology.
**Certificates & Licenses:**

Fork Lift operator certification, Reach Truck and order Picker experience
**Other Requirements:**

Valid drivers license required. Safe driver history/record required for insurance and liability reason.
