Providing occupational therapy services in a dynamic K-12 school environment, this contract position offers an opportunity to support students across multiple campuses. The role involves delivering specialized therapy aimed at enhancing student development and participation in school activities. Location: Warren, MI Work Schedule and Caseload: Approximately 16 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days Potential to increase hours by supporting an additional campus Managing a caseload of 33 students Serving three campuses: High School Lower Elementary Upper Elementary Key Responsibilities: Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Implement therapy services to improve students functional skills and academic performance Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and protocols Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits: Flexible scheduling suited to a contract position Opportunity to impact a diverse student population Supportive environment with the potential to expand services across campuses This position offers a rewarding chance to contribute to student success through occupational therapy in an educational setting.
