Details: TIG welding of stainless-steel items including the review of layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, to the final inspection of the work piece for conformance to specifications. Responsible for maintaining product quality standards. * Review layouts, blueprints, diagrams or work orders in preparation for welding metal components.* Position work pieces and clamps together or assemble in jigs or fixtures.* Insert electrode into holder and connect hoses and cables to obtain specified amperage, voltage or polarity.* Install torch according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of metal.* TIG weld metal parts or components together.* Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes and increase sizes in metal parts, using welding equipment.* Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead position.* Peening (sandblasting)* Clean or degrease parts, using wire brush or portable grinder.* Inspect finished work piece for conformance to specifications* Control operation of equipment or systems * Install equipment to meet specificationsJob RequirementsDetails: * Knowledge of raw materials, of welding tools, production processes/methods, materials and the ability to provide and inspect for quality control * Information Ordering - Ability to arrange actions/steps in sequential order; to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations)
