Quality Assurance Manager

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager where you will be responsible for day to day quality assurance of finished good products. You will oversee, monitor, and report plant sanitation efforts in conjunction with standard health guidelines and best practices as it pertains to the quality of the product.
- B. S. in Dairy, Food Science, or Science related field.
- 3 to 5 years combined experience in dairy quality control, sanitation and/or production.
- Complete understanding of computer driven process controls for a dairy manufacturing facility
Sanitation Monitoring and Recommendations:
Provides appropriate recommendations to management.
Quality Program Implementation and Auditing:
Implements and audits in-plant quality programs (e. g., GMPs, HACCP, weight control).
Recommends improvements based on findings.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
Assists in complying with regulatory requirements related to product safety and quality.
Plant Laboratory Supervision:
Supervises plant laboratory operations.
Recommends proper staffing and equipment calibration.
Quality Reporting and Collaboration:
Provides regular and complete quality reports to management and Corporate Quality Personnel.
Maintains professional relationships with plant management, customers, and vendors.
