We strive for a culture where our team feels supported and appreciated and value personality as much as experience.This position will provide a gas card, vehicle after 90 days, health insurance, and profit sharing among other benefits.Successful candidates will have:5+ years of carpentry experienceCarpenter Lead candidates will have 5+ years of supervision experience Valid driver's licenseHandyman skillsClean background and DMV recordAbility to pass skills assessment Understanding of property services industryGeographical expertise of service areaGeneral Contractor license a plusThe Carpenter is responsible for making direct contact with all Association Managers and Homeowners to schedule work orders. Work orders are administered through the office via the dispatcher. The Carpenter is required to keep accurate records and organized paperwork to be submitted weekly for billing. This position requires the employee to be "self-managed" in maintaining and organizing their schedule. Carpenter's are full-time associates with the company and work a full-time schedule, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week. Job Responsibilities:Capable of reading and understanding construction blueprints and specificationsCompetent in all phases of residential constructionKeep vehicle well maintained and fully stocked and organized with tools and supplies to do any job from demolition to finish work at all timesPerforms all advanced carpentry dutiesCapable of doing takeoffsResponsible for all quality and efficiencyCapable of training/teaching upcoming field staffOther duties as assignedPhysical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Ability to work a minimum of 8 working hours each workdayAbility to adjust, lift, push and pull heavy objects a minimum of 50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel and balance regularlyAbility to do ladder/step work which could include carrying ladders, scaffolding and walking up/down stairsFrequent exposure to moving mechanical partsContact with sharp, hot and/or very cold supplies and equipmentMust maintain safety procedures at all times to prevent work injuriesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
