Manages a team of accounts payable clerks that calculate amounts owed or due, receive or distribute invoices or bills, and maintain records of payments to or from the organization. Ensures that transactions are accurate and posted to organizational ledgers in a timely manner. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Ensures accurate administration of established policies and procedures. Participates in monitoring & influencing key performance metrics, and implementing procedural changes. Aligns with Group systems, policies, and procedures. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Director, Operational Accounting from time to time. Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Requires advanced knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action. Accountabilities include work and people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for hiring decisions. The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc Required: Bachelor's degree, preferred. 06-08 years related experience required.
