Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Heumann in Topeka, KS for a Customer Relations SpecialistThe regular hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursementPrimary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position: Makes decisions to resolve customer issues and other key aspects of customer relationshipsInitiate and record contacts with potential customers and/or expand services to existing accounts and improving relationshipsRespond expeditiously to customers complaints and problems and initate change to avoid future customer problemsTrack, record and review frequency and types of service/quality problems/mistakes and lead problem solving discussions with laboratory staffInitiate customer solutions whenever possible and take necessary actions to convert negative customer and dental office experience and positive outcomesMaintain and update customer data basePerform other appropriate job duties as assignedSkills and Abilities Required:Strong attention to detailStrong organizational and follow-up skillsSelf-directed, with the ability to analyze problems and make decisionsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeCreative thinking and problem solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills to present concerns/ideas with tact and diplomacyDesire to provide aide to expedite other positions for a more efficient overall teamStrong data entry skillsStrong ability to listen and comprehend instructions, following tasks through to completionTyping, 35 words per minute (as applicable)Minimum Education and Experience Required:Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Some college preferred2-3 years' customer care experienceGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Competencies:Time ManagementGoal Oriented FocusWillingness to LearnDecision QualityProblem SolvingClear Communication SkillsEquipment Used:ComputerTelephonePhysical Requirements:Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reachExhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motionsGood hand-eye coordinationGood manual dexterityAbility to walk and stand for long periods of timeRepeated bending and kneelingVision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or colorMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English
