Automation Engineer III

Insight Global is seeking a Automation Engineer III to join one of our top pharmaceutical clients in Plainville, MA. This individual will be responsible for supporting the facility with a scope encompassing automation systems for GMP Manufacturing, Quality Control, Process Development and their Warehouse Operations. Responsibilities will also include supporting functions for all clinical and commercial drug manufacturing of gene therapy products, leading automation activates during tech transfers of new products and provide support throughout the companies manufacturing campaigns. This individual should have at least a minimum of 5 years withing the biotech engineering/ manufacturing environment and should have experience working with DeltaV, DCS and/or PLC coding and automation hardware systems such as I/O modules and/or power supplies, control relays, signal conditioners, etc. You will be collaborating with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Sciences, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Information Systems, and other Engineering teams to complete all responsibilities as well as supporting manufacturing equipment and analytical equipment including implementing modifications to improve operational performance and product quality.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences OR Engineering (Automation)
-5 years of experience supporting/ troubleshooting configurations of IO Modules for DeltaV.
-Experience reviewing and supporting the execution of Commissioning, Qualification and Validation (CQV) Activities.
