Quailty Assurance Associate

Bob Barker Company is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate to assist with managing the quality requirements of an increasingly diversified supply chain. The QA Associate will also assist the Safety Manager with maintaining the company safety program.
Responsibilities
- Conduct product, process, and safety audits.
- Collaborate with the Quality Auditor to verify and inspect inbound items as needed.
- Provide quality oversight of vinyl production by performing spot audits on incoming materials and sample testing of finished goods.
- Address customer quality concerns related to the North Carolina facility and work with internal customers to resolve product quality issues.
- Demonstrate skills and experience necessary to perform quality and safety tasks independently without supervision.
- Act as a safety associate under the supervision of the Safety Manager, conducting inspections, training, and assisting in ensuring OSHA compliance.
- Assist in managing and further developing CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) compliance.
- Support the processing of sample orders when necessary.
- Sustain the highest quality experience for the customer while improving the overall cost of quality for the Bob Barker Company.
- Communicate the state of quality to motivate the organization to support quality initiatives such as incident reporting and reduction.
- Communicate with stakeholders using objective evidence to deliver initiatives that improve the customer quality experience.
- Assist with the evaluation and qualification of supplier products and processes, and the development and maintenance of a Supplier Qualification Program.
- Ability to learn Bob Barker Company's production and quality standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Familiarity with ISO and LEAN Manufacturing
- Textile experience preferred: understanding of thread count, wash testing, and fabric weight.
- High School Diploma required.
- At least two years of related work experience, preferably in quality inspection and auditing.
