The Fountain Group iscurrentlyseeking an ­­­­­­­­Occupational Health Nurse for a prominent clientofours.This position is located in ­­Saint Paul, MN. Details for the positionare as follows: Shift & Location Details: **ONSITE: Monday-Friday from 9/9:30am to 5:30/6pm** The position is a flex position that will go between our Plymouth (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) and Minnetonka (Wednesday, Thursday) sites. Must have flexibility to cover these sites for vacations and absences. There are lead RN's at each site that this OHN will work with. TRAINING: 90-day training period. INTERVIEWS: 1 st round virtual; possible 2 nd round onsite. Job Description: Provide occupational health services including treatment and care to site population (i.e., First Aid response etc.). Manage a diversity of programs and systems including the management of all employee injuries and illnesses, associated workers' compensation cases, medical surveillance programs and protocols, logs and screenings. Manage all medical supplies. Coordinate Corporate occupational health and safety programs. Conduct applicable employee training and participate in various site teams and Emergency Response. Work with Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and HR Staff. Work closely with all site employees, Managers and Supervisors. Aggressively pursue a reduction in Workers' Compensation costs through effective case management, return to work and other effective prevention programs. Qualifications: **Looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and eager, someone who has interest in longevity with the company, someone who can take direction well, gets along well with different personalities, someone who knows what the Occupational Health position entails when they come in to interview** Required: Unrestricted RN license from MN (no history of restricted/suspended license). 2-year associate degree or BS degree okay, with RN experience. Onsite nursing experience. “Contact” nursing / injury assessment case management experience. Assessment, first aid response, workers compensation, case management experience. AED Program experience. Medical Record management experience. Excellent in utilizing Nursing Process skills and documentation. Strong communication skills (written and oral) required. MS Office experience required (excel, outlook). Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to use critical thinking with strong work ethics. Ability to work independently with good nursing judgement skills. Preferred: 1+ year occupational health experience preferred. Case and injury management experience preferred. Accommodations management experience preferred. Medical surveillance experience preferred. Emergency response coordinator experience preferred. Ortho experience nice to have. School Nurse experience translates well. Compensation: Up to $50 per hour depending on experience
