MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator

Matrix Metalcraft is an innovative metal fabrication and manufacturing company serving the Defense, Energy, Automotive, and Outdoor Power Equipment Industries. Due to growth and expansion, Matrix has open positions for a MIG/TIG Welder, for 1st (M-Th 7:00 to 5:30 pm) or 2nd shift (M-Th, 4:00 pm to 2:30 am). •Competitive pay, hourly depending on experience. •BONUS opportunities available •We offer a full benefit package, plus paid Vacation, and PTO. Job Duties•Weld steel, stainless steel and/or aluminum parts and assemblies per drawing requirements •Using weld callout requirements from design drawings, set parameters and program welder to safely operate and apply correct welds •Visually inspect all welds to ensure conformance to specifications •Ensure weld fixtures are properly maintained and in good clean working condition Requirements•Minimum 2 years welding experience •Must understand engineering drawings and understand weld symbols •Must have attention to detail and quality •Must work well with others and be a team player •Good attendance is a must •Work in an efficient and timely manner Additional Beneficial Qualifications•AWS or other weld certifications a plus
