Job Description: Responsible for creating and tracking equipment shipments to and from customer sites. Supports client program related RMA returns, spares inventories, parts management, and audits, plus general shipping for the team. Generates a variety of standard reports. Manage quarterly spares audits within defined schedules. Support / manage local shipping needs for various program needs. Coordinate/organize/track shipping and receiving within the program. Ship equipment utilizing the client software to support customer requirements. May require support during off-hours and overtime. Within parameters, determines routing and arrangements for shipments, considering such factors as nature of items being shipped, method of handling, size, urgency, and cost. Prepares and maintains records of products shipped and tracks shipments. Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications. Maintains records of received goods, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks upon receipt of internal certification. Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements. May perform wood shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns in building skids and crates. Developing support for individual contributors. Works under general supervision. Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. Nature of Supervision: Works under general supervision. Less detailed instructions are provided and moderate peer review is required. Communication and Influence: Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. Innovation and Complexity: Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follow established processes to complete tasks. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution. Organization Impact: Works to achieve operational targets within the job area which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities. Must Have: Experience with an inventory management system. Experience with MS Office tools (primarily Excel). Excel proficient (Vlookups & Pivot Tables). ttention to detail (Detail oriented environment). Work in a team environment. Good communication skills. Nice To Haves: MS Access background. Education and Experience: Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
