Accounting Associate II
Location: Houston, TX 77077 (On-Site)
Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (M to F)

Note: Candidates must have AS400 experience walking in the door.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs activities related to AP Payment Processing including GL coding of indirect and employee expenses.
  • Performs activities required to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
  • GL coding of non-PO related expenses.
  • Processes scheduled and exception (one-off) payments.
  • Creates payment parameters and secures appropriate approvals.
  • Finalizes payments.
  • Generates periodic reports and annual tax filing information.
  • Liaises closely with Corporate/Site Financial and Operations management as appropriate.
Education Required:
  • High School or Equivalent.
Preferred Education:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent or related specialized courses.
Experience Required:
  • 2 years related experience.
Skills Required:
  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and 10-key by touch
  • Ability to select and apply standard policies and procedures.
  • Ability to resolve routine problems and questions independently.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
