What does a successful Application Implementation Engineer

do at Fiserv? You'll be a part of a new team built to support the delivery and implementation of the Commerce Hub platform. You’ll be an escalation point of contact for Commerce Hub application support issues and handle challenging issues related to supporting various applications and systems. With developer-friendly, flexible communication standards, unified APIs, and pre-certified integrations, the Commerce Hub reduces development time and accelerates speed to market. What you will do: Collaborate with Fiserv clients to deliver solutions and collaborate with various Fiserv teams to update necessary documents for process improvements Identify, track, and resolve client issues efficiently and quickly while providing timely updates Escalate issues to the subject matter experts for timely resolution. Update support articles to build knowledge within the team Identify solutions and workarounds for known software defects to get customers operational Maintain tickets in our ticketing systems to provide accurate status of all support queues Track and prioritize software defects and ensure they are prioritized appropriately Diagnose, troubleshoot, and document application issues Work on initiatives and continuous improvement process around proactive application health monitoring, alerting, reporting, and technical support What you will need to have: 4+ years of experience with application implementation processesand ITIL 2+ years of experience with monitoring systems such asSplunk and Dynatrace 2+ years of test automation experience using tools such as JMeter, Selenium Web Driver, and Postman 1+ year(s) of software development experience with Java or .NET 1+ year(s) of experience gathering and translating business/ and technical requirements into high-level and low-level design documents in close cooperation with product and other non-technical staff 1+ year(s) of SDLC experience in raising development bugs, including priority assessment, high-quality analysis, and detailed investigation using JIRA and ServiceNow Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, military, or work experience What would be great to have: Experience in the payments industry Experience with microservices-based architecture Ability to determine and document complex software or system functional specifications Ability to advocate for customers’ positions internally while keeping the company brand and goals in mind Important info about this role: We’re better together.
