The Team
The Content Management Development Team is the part of Fidelity’s Personal Investing business unit and is responsible for building and supporting the content management platform to enable DCM (Digital Content Management) to create and update the content on Fidelity.com. Our focus is building self-directed, end-to-end solutions that push the bounds of financial and technical innovation to improve the lives of DCM team to create and publish the content. Our teams follow an agile process, moving quickly, solving difficult problems in new ways, and empowering everyone to have a voice in the direction of our products. Because we are passionate about building quality software, we invest heavily in automated testing, code reviews and prioritize refactoring.
The Purpose of Your Role
Our teams build and contribute to develop and support digital capabilities on fidelity.com. As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral member of a dynamic team building world class products and customer experiences in support of our rapidly growing product portfolio. We are looking for self-starters who are willing to learn the current application framework and start delivering/contributing value rapidly.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas to improve our products as well as coach junior engineers. We're looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environments.
The Expertise You Have

  • 7+ years of experience in Software Development
  • Hands on experience in JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, HTML, JSON, CSS, GULP, SASS, Node JS and XML
  • Hands on experience in any Content Management like AEM, Tridion etc.
  • Hands on experience in building applications with JAVA/J2EE
  • Hands on experience in Responsive web design
  • Good troubleshooting experience
  • Good JavaScript & Node JS experience
  • Experience working on project teams with excellent analytical, problem solving, and communications skills
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills required
  • Experience using version control system like Bitbucket and GitHub
  • Hands on experience on AWS
  • Must have worked with web application build, deployment, and release management
