Material Handler II

Material Handler II (1st Shift) Hayward, CA Join Ultra Clean Technology, a leader in semiconductor manufacturing. As a Material Handler II, you will accurately and safely distribute material internal and external to the facility, ensuring efficient operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately handle transactions and physical movement of material in and out of the stockroom. Maintain accurate inventory level management. Perform cycle counts and keep the warehouse clean. Accurately kit all work orders. Assist in all WIP movement and transactions. May assist with shipping/receiving/packaging as needed. May drive company truck and/or forklift. Perform other duties as required. Attendance is essential. Forklift certification, valid driver license, and use of power tools are not required for all Material Handlers. Time at each task fluctuates with workload. Cross?training and fluid transition between departments is essential. Material Handler I must be proficient with all level 1 tasks within 90 days of hire. Many tasks require on?the?job training. Four codes relate to unique skill sets; Material Handler II works under Material Handler III guidance as required in each function. Other Duties This job description is not exhaustive; duties may change at any time. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficient at Material Handler I responsibilities. Basic understanding of Excel files and ERP system data entry. Maintain and store files effectively. Create new locations in the ERP system. Process and print barcode labels. Maintain data in KPI. Fill out complex forms in ERP system such as NCM. Use various tools to research inventory discrepancies. Use problem?solving skills to find lost inventory. Reorganize inventory storage for optimal fit and distribution. Use carrier?related software and prepare BOL. Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scales safely and effectively. Accept repetitive motion of twisting and bending. Educational / Certification Requirements High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) preferred. Forklift certification (required). Valid drivers license (required). Work Experience 2+ years of experience with computer and ERP systems; bar?coded software experience highly desired. Two years experience in any material distribution environment is desired. Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable. Compensation Pay range at commencement: $19.18 $28.75 per hour; base pay may vary based on location, experience, and skill.
